Happy Easter!

We had such a great day! The Easter bunny left the girls the movie tangled, and Max got some new cars. Everyone got candy and sidewalk chalk, and even more candy filled eggs were left outside the house! We had a wonderful lunch with Bumpa, Great-Grandma Monte, and Grandpa Monte. We also had lots of fun visiting with the two of them for quite awhile before they had to go home. The girls were bombarding them by talking non-stop...it was pretty funny! Max played cars with Grandpa for a very long time! Macy was telling knock-knock jokes, and Madison was showing us all what a great reader she has become! We even skipped our naps because we were having so much fun! The end result was Max falling asleep in his highchair...poor guy! We ended the evening with a bath and then watching the movie Tangled! We gave the grandparents and our sitter, Robin, a Spring 2011 picture. Max's hands made the butterfly, Macy's hand was the blue flower, and Madison's hand was the red flower. We had a fun time making them.

City Park

On Saturday, we enjoyed the fun day at City Park. They had an inflatable obstacle course, big slide, and bouncy house. The girls enjoyed all those things until the "egg hunt." Madison was a bit confused because they hunted for baggies instead of eggs. I assured her, that it was just fine (especially since the baggies contained upcoming city events, candy, some little trinkets, and Culver's ice cream coupons)! Max especially enjoyed swinging and playing at the playground with Bumpa. We're going to have such a great summer!

Easter weekend

Jesse ended up getting Lasik surgery done on Friday (check out the cool "goggles" he came home in, so we decided to spend Easter around Reedsburg. Max and Macy were enjoying time in a fort they made Friday while waiting for my Dad to come. Max is a Bumpa's boy for sure! He loved snuggling, playing cars, and of course, ball, with Bumpa. The kids loved to sit on his lap and read. They were thrilled that Bumpa was here! Bumpa was even brave enough to take the girls to the movie, Rio. It was interesting to say the least, taking Macy to her first movie! Jesse is doing great, and his eye sight gets even more clear every day! Amazing!

Egg coloring

Our good friends invited us over to color eggs. They all enjoyed it so much! It was hard at times to be patient, and as you can tell by Madison's face, she was super tired and very focused on her egg getting colored! Thanks again girls!

Egg Hunt

Our friend's hosted their annual egg hunt in their backyard. The kids had so much fun, and the adults enjoyed good company and yummy food! Thanks Weis Family!

Saturday night fun!

We took the kids out to eat at Buffalo Phil's last Sat. We ate in the train room for the first time...the train delivers your food and drinks right to the table! The one picture you can see the train delivering our drinks in the background, and the other shows a different "bubble" train that goes around every once in awhile. Max loved the "choo choos!" After dinner the girls enjoyed the jumping pillow and they all had fun in the play land. We had rosy cheeks by the end of the night!

SCHCC Egg Hunt

I took Max on a "date" to the Sauk County Health Care Center Egg hunt last Sat. He enjoyed it so much! He was such a cutie picking up his eggs and shaking them!

Dance costume and workout video

This is a picture of Madison in her full dance costume. She will have her recital over Mother's Day weekend.

Last Monday night, Madison asked if she could do the video with the girl working out. So, Macy and her did the full 25 minute Jillian workout - 30 day shred! Madison was non-stop the whole time and even jogged on our family walk we went for immediately following! To have that kind of energy...

Enjoying the 70's

We were able to enjoy lots of outdoor fun this weekend, especially since the weather was in the 70's today! Max tried the Jeep for the first time, and loved being a passenger. I'm sure the day will come soon enough where there are fights over who gets to drive. We enjoyed lunch on the deck (notice that Max seems to get more yogurt on his face than in his mouth...and don't let him fool you with the broccoli in his hand, that's as far as it got)! My friend brought over mini-ice creams cones the other day, so they were able to have their second one today. Max also likes mimicing Ginger and putting his face up to the glass. We also decided to cut some of our daffodills today before they got ruined by the storm...a very easy way to cheer up a house!
