9 months old!

Max turned 9 months old today and I took some videos of him tonight in his p.j.s (which won't fit him soon). We have his appt. next Monday, but he was already 22 pounds a few weeks ago. Although he is not crawling yet, he gets closer every day and usually just scoots on his bottom. Like any man, he only moves toward the remote!!!! Just kidding, I thought it was funny. He is such a happy boy and can sit for hours in the living room playing with toys. He loves any food and is definitely getting his own personality! Enjoy the clips!

Diva in training!

Macy has been really into singing lately. Madison has always been great at keeping the correct tune, and Macy just enjoys singing and dancing! The first video is Macy's favortie line from the song Tick Tock. The second video is Macy singing the Hannah Montana song (until the chips seemed more appealing). The last video is from Black Eyed Peas, I've Gotta Feeling. Enjoy! My parents always hoped that I would be famous some day and make lots of $, well, now it's time for Macy to do the same! The funniest part about that, is I am famous to all the kids at my schools...too bad I don't make millions :)

Draft with Uncle Kerry

Max enjoyed being fed by Kerry yesterday. I'm afraid he will never let anyone else feed him again because Kerry was very animated and got him going! It was very sweet to watch them together! I also included a short "dancing" video of Max!

Loving play time!

Max isn't crawling yet, but enjoys sitting up playing and scootching around on his bottom! He will sit for over an hour and "play" with the Little People farm! I had to take a picture of him with his tractor shirt on from Uncle Pete...it is perfect for his favorite toy! He also likes to hang out with Ginger, only you have to watch close because he tries to suck on her and gets a mouthful of hair! The other picture is from last night with baby Clayre in the background. Jesse has his annual draft weekend and it was/is at our house this weekend. Funny to say, but last night there were more kids here than adults! I don't think they ever expected that to happen! Let's just say he is getting Max ready for the draft weekend in his future!

Aunt Alice turns 40!

We left the hospital from visiting Clayre, and drove to Appleton for Auntie Alice's 50th surprise birthday party (to us she's only 40)! The girls had fun eating, and playing pretend bus with the table and chairs. Max took a snooze for most of the party on Colleen's lap (her muscles are probably still tired out from holding that big 22 pounder)! After his good snooze, he hung out with cousin Mara where he tried his first pickle and loved it!!!! He reeked of pickle juice all the way home! Thanks for the great time everyone!

Clayre Rylee

Our good friends, the Olson's, welcomed their 3rd beautiful girl into this world, Clayre Rylee. I was able to see her the Friday night she was born, just a couple of hours old, and then we all went Sat. morning to visit. Madelyn and Alayna are great big sisters, and love their baby! It is funny because our girls have been back into their baby dolls since Clayre has arrived two weeks ago!

8 months old

Max celebrated his 8 month old birthday in AL. He continues to be such a happy boy. He is content with sitting and watching everything going on around him. He isn't crawling yet, but can get around if he wants to by rolling and scooting. He has his 2 bottom teeth and is enjoying all of his baby foods. Although he stills makes funny faces with some foods, we haven't found any he doesn't like. We're sure he'll be in touch with his feminine side as you see in the picture of him wearing his "bubble crown" thanks to his older sisters!

Easter and ball with Bumpa

After the long straight drive thru, we stopped in Milwaukee. It worked perfectly because Megan, Cash, and Mikey (who would have thought that we'd end up having baby boys 4 months apart)were home, and we were able to see them and spend Easter with my parents. We were also able to see Kirk, Katie, Lauren, and Katelyn on Sat. and Sun. The girls love seeing their cousins and playing all together. I added a video of Bumpa playing ball with Max. He is so proud that he taught him how to play, and the best thing was, they did this for over 30 minutes! He was so content sitting and playing with Bumpa. Bumpa swears there is a difference teaching catch between a girl and a boy. He claims that boys throw it back, and girls just look at the ball. Who knows if he is right, but I guess it proved right for him and the 5 grandkids! The other picture was back at home when Max wasn't feeling the greatest. I had laid him down for the night and heard him again. Jesse went and got him. I thought that he was getting him back to sleep, and instead, I walked into the room seeing them with remotes in their hands hanging out in bed! It was the cutest thing! He was ready to go though, and Mommy and Daddy were ready for bed :)

Videos

I love this video of the girls going in the ocean, and Macy "shaking her booty" by the oceanfront!

more favs

Here are more of my favorites from the vacation. Max did so well just hanging out in either the stroller or the backpack. He loved people watching, and everyone commented on what a happy baby he is! He really enjoyed swimming, and since the outside pools were a touch cold, we hung around the inside pool most of the time. It was nice to stay out of the sun, too. Everybody also liked walking in the ocean, but there was no swimming in there. The kids found jellyfishes, lots of seashells, and even a crab on an evening walk. We all enjoyed the time together.

The Beach

We had the most wonderful time on our spring break. We drove down to Gulf Shores, AL, last week. The kids did well in the van for the 18 hour trip. We stayed in a beautiful oceanfront condo where the "bunk room" was the favorite for the girls. Madison slept in the top bunk, but they enjoyed reading books for hours sitting there, too. We enjoyed snacks on the balcony and watching the sunrises/sunsets. We even saw a couple of dolphins one morning! These are a few of my favorite pics from the beach...enjoy!

Easter bunny

Thank goodness the Easter bunny knew we were going to be gone for the holiday, because he surprised the girls with new books and fruit snacks before we left on our long spring break trip. How nice!
