Health Care Center and Pumpkin Parade

What a great day! After the play date, we rested and started in with the festivities! I took the boys to the Health Care Center where they enjoyed the cool fountain, more than the candy. The whole family went on the pumpkin parade down Main street. It was very chilly, but yet there wasn't any complaints! Woody, Rex, Barbie, and Jessie did great! That evening, I took the girls to the spooky swim at Swim Reedsburg, while Jesse did some grocery shopping and picked out a movie with the boys. I wish everyday could be like this!

Spooktacular Halloween Party

I wanted to host a Halloween Party this year, and when I looked at the list, I thought I'd call it "Spooktacular" Halloween play date! Everyone brought a fun snack and we played in the morning to attempt tiring out the kids before all the other festivities of the day. There were 19 kids in my house under the age of 8, and they did amazing! We had such a great time, and would definitely do it again! I gave out party favors as they left, and of course the teeth were the most popular!

Fun weekend

We had a great last weekend with fun and family! The nice weather has been great for the park...we have been going a lot and enjoying some leaves. Matthew was very photogenic this last time, and I took these pics as his 16 month pictures! I can't believe it! Last Sunday, we went to Madison and met my Mom, Lauren, and Katelyn out to eat with Aunt Ellen. Afterwards, we went to the mall and played in the play area and even got some ice cream before we left. It was so nice to see the nieces...I miss them!

Tooth Fairy and soccer

What a fun and exciting week for Madison! On Tuesday, right after we picked her up from CLC to go to Culver's for dinner, her tooth came out! We thought it was so cool that we were all with her, and she was pumped! At dinner, she was continually scanning the dining area for people she knew so she could run up to them and tell them she lost her first tooth! The tooth fairy came and left her a gold dollar coin, which she was SOOOOO excited about! Mom and Dad each gave her $1 as well, since her tooth was going to be extracted by the dentist if it didn't come out on its own!

The next night was Madison's soccer banquet. She had a wonderful coach and a great team! Madison received "Most Improved" and "Good luck pants" awards (they did one serious and one silly, and she wore the same soccer ball pants every week)! What a great experience!

Matthew and Pumpkin Math night

Poor Matthew is starting to realize that he can't do everything the big kids can :( We put the bunk back together in Max's room, and the kids were hanging out on the top with POOR Matthew down below and sad! He also loves raiding my jewelry stash and then will walk around all proud. Max wanted to pose as well, and it shows the size difference between the two. Max weighed more than 20 pounds at his 9 month appointment and Matthew finally hit 20 at his 15 month appointment!

Macy's class also went to Country Bumpkin and that night was Pumpkin Math Night. Thankfully Uncle Duke helped us out so I could go with Macy by herself. We had many different stations, and at the end got to carve her pumpkin. We had a great time!

Hansel and Gretal...our neighborhood rules

The morning views were breathtaking late September/early October! Not sure if it was the warmer temps or if it is always like that...just beautiful, though. Our neighbor, Jos, sat down with Max while they "fished" and I thought it was the sweetest thing! Jos had so much stuff to do, so I limited the time out there, but I know he would have stayed with Max for as long as he wanted. We are so fortunate to live in such a wonderful neighborhood with great neighbors!

Macy was a "Wallybird" in the Missoula's children production of Hansel and Gretel. I was so proud of her and her long week of rehearsals. She did great and LOVED it! This goes hand in hand with her dramatic ways :)

Uncle John's and Aunt Heidi's

Our family chose a Saturday in late September for a get-together...Christmas was too far away to wait! Although it was a very busy weekend for me, I ended up making the trip with the boys, while Jesse stayed home with the girls for soccer and then we met up later at a wedding! We enjoyed visiting and having fun in their new house and yard. As you can see, a dream property! Although the ambulance had to be called, everyone was safe and we all had a great time!

Dinner date

Our friends invited us for a dinner in the park, and so our three families enjoyed dinner and play time on a beautiful evening. The kids even made a "play" and presented it to us with the beautiful veteran memorial as the backdrop. Matthew was a proud audience member...a happy 15 month old!

Milwaukee visit and Max's pumpkin patch

Wow! It has been awhile since I posted anything...too much memory being used up, so my pictures wouldn't download.  The top pictures were from a quick visit to Milwaukee in mid-September. I was able to see so many old friends, and the kids loved these giraffes while visiting Marie. She also sent them home with a bag full of beanie babies, which have been all over their rooms since we've been back :) Matthew finally started really walking in early September, and by the time this picture had been taken, he was getting very confident as you can see by the smile on his face!

Max has loved preschool, and I was able to talk a half personal day to go on his pumpkin patch field trip. He had so much fun, and loved the corn maze, picking his pumpkin, a crazy gourd, and decorative corn. We also got to pick raspberries, too! Before we left, we even got to see a pumpkin catapault! Thanks Country Bumpkin!
