D.C. Wedding

We had the most amazing time in Washington D.C. this past weekend. Jesse's cousin Jonathon got married and the wedding was absolutely dreamy! The reception took place at the historic Hay Adams Hotel across from the White House. The cocktail hour was on the roof with
breathtaking views and food. Max was a poster child for traveling. He did so well and we enjoyed the alone time with him (the girls stayed with my parents in Milw.). It was a quick weekend, but definitely worth it! We will never forget this wedding!

Shower

Max went with me to my friend Jenny's baby shower. She looked so great and was so thrilled to have us all there. Here is a pic from the "Shorewood" clan. Molly and Eden drove with us to Chicago, and unfortunately, we had some car problems on the way home (it took me 7 hours to make it home instead of 3 1/2)! Needless to say it was an adventure, and Max and Eden had their first tow truck ride (hopefully their last)!

3 months old

Our little guy is just about 3 months old in this pic. He is such a good baby and has adjusted well to us going back to work. He gets more social every day, and is starting to bat at his toys and is getting better gripping small ones. His hair just started lying flat and I am already missing his spike!

Milwaukee weekend

I took the girls to Milw. for Katelyn and Lauren's birthday party. I just love how all the girls get along so well and enjoy playing with each other. They love their cousin Max so much! That evening, my friend Sadie brought her 7 1/2 month Max over...isn't he sweet? I just can't get over his cheeks! On Sunday, my parents took the girls to their friends house for a grandparent party. They decorated pumpkins , ran an obstacle course, and also got train rides. Thanks, Larson's, for such a special time!

First Wedding/Grandpa

Jesse and I had a wedding last Sat. We had a great time, and Max loved the music and strobe light, especially! Jesse's Dad came and stayed with the girls while we enjoyed our nice meal and dancing. He came with a big pumpkin to carve with the girls. They loved their night with Grandpa and even named the pumpkin, Russ. Thanks Grandpa!

Pumpkin Patch/Fire Station

I was able to chaperone Madison's first field trip of preschool to the pumpkin patch! We all went on a hay ride and made many stops...to pick indian corn, pop corn, sweet corn, pumpkin and crazy gourd, and raspberries. We tried sweet corn right in the field off the stalk! It was great! Madison looked so big to me on this trip with all of her little friends. She's growing up too fast! The following Friday they visited the LaValle firestation and she was so proud of her hat!

Chuck E. Cheese

We headed to Chuck E. Cheese in Madison on Oct. 1. Our last big hoorah before starting back to work. The girls enjoyed dancing and the free slide the best. Mommy and Daddy enjoyed all the games and using up all the tokens :) Now I understand the concept of Dave and Busters!
