Spaghetti time!

On Tuesday, it was the Reedsburg Fire Station annual spaghetti dinner. We have eaten there in the past, and this year decided to do carryout since it was so busy, and we didn't know how long the girls would last. They obviously didn't mind, because they gobbled it right up at home! They were so messy, we should have taken their clothes off!

A potty moment...

Madison had to go potty tonight, and her little shadow followed her in. Daddy followed them with the camera, and got this cute picture. Macy loves sitting on the potty, clothed and/or naked, but hasn't really gotten the actually pee-pee part of it yet. At least she's showing interest, right?

Girls weekend (plus Ethan)

The draft weekend has been traditionally Jesse's weekend with the guys. This year it was at Chad's house, so Sabrina brought Ethan to our house and we started our girls' weekend! It was so nice on Friday, that we stayed outside to play for awhile before going out for dinner. Auntie Ellen also came with Sabrina and Ethan, and even Nana came as a surprise for Saturday and spent the night! We gave the three of them a bath on Friday night...they were so cute in the tub! Ellen was reading with both Ethan and Macy on her lap when Ethan decided to give Macy a big hug. He is such a little lover! On Saturday we just hung out and I loved the picture of Sabrina, Madison, and Ginger cuddling. Ginger was spoiled by all the attention Sabrina gave her. Sunday we had a nice breakfast and played a little bit before everyone went home. Ethan is a shoe fan, just like my girls. You can notice the pink sandals he has on in the one picture...he also looked so cute in the girls' pink hats!!! We had such a fun weekend, and can't wait to visit with them all again!

Beautiful Day for Bubbles!

Last Thursday was such a beautiful day. We came home from work, and immediately went for a walk with Ginger. Then we stayed outside and played for awhile and had some "impromptu" playdates. One was the Casey Family, and Madelyn enjoyed the bubbles as much as our girls. They were very cute chasing after the bubbles, and the laughter was so funny. Macy played very nice until a little incident with the lawn mower (sorry again, Maddie)! We hope they stop by to play again!

25 weeks

Jesse took this picture on Saturday, a day before 25 weeks. I'm finally starting to pop out a little more and will have to give in and take out some maternity clothes! We had a doctor's appt. over the break, and everything is still looking great!

Easter Egg Hunt

We are so blessed with such great friends. Shortly after we arrived back in town, we headed over to our good friends, the Olson's. They had over 60 eggs hidden in their backyard for the 4 girls to search for. They have the best backyard for playing in, and Macy wanted to play more than hunt for eggs (common theme for her). After the hunt, we enjoyed a yummy meal and got to play more before coming home. Madelyn and Alayna are the same age apart as our girls, and both a couple of months younger than our two. They all play really nice together.

Easter bunny

When we came home from Bumpa and Nana's house, we found that the Easter Bunny had stopped by! Madison and Macy found some eggs around the living room, and even Ginger loved looking for the eggs! Robin had also stopped by and surprised the girls with easter baskets full of yummy treats, bubbles, and even these new sunglasses (she's so good to us)!

Swimming

Madison got to swim on Sat. and again on Sunday morning before we left Bumpa and Nana's for home. She is fearless in the water and amazed everyone on Sat. I was able to take two videos of her swimming and jumping in on the noodle. I guess swimming lessons is finally paying off!

Easter at Bumpa and Nana's

My parent's had both sides of the family over on Sat. The girls had a lot of fun playing with everyone. Macy had to take a nap right in the middle of it, so I never got a nice picture of them together with their hair done and cute outfits, oh well! The video is of Madison dancing in the big mirror, of course the dancing before the video was more funny. Macy put her coat on all by herself (she's saying "cheese" as I take the picture)! I didn't take any pictures during the party, but it was so nice to see everyone again.

First day of break...golfing!

Our first say of break was spent cleaning, playing outside, and having lots of fun!!!! Our friend dropped of some toddler golf clubs for us to use with Madison. Jesse couldn't wait to let her try them out and show her how they work. Madison even took them out today on her own! Of course, we have to watch more carefully with these real clubs, versus her plastic ones...they can do much more damage!!! Macy even tried them out today, too!

Visiting friends

A couple of Saturdays ago, we visited our friends, the Schaaf's. The kids had so much fun playing together, especially in Braden's bed. I can't believe Joy got all 3 of them to smile and look at the camera all at once! We always say that Braden is Macy's boyfriend...don't they look cute together!!!!

Egg Hunt

Our friends had their annual Easter Egg Hunt on Sat. I was a couple minutes behind Jesse and the girls and was amazed to find 10 or more kids gathered around the table quietly making crafts. I didn't even think anyone was down there, it was so quiet! After the Easter bunny called the house to say he had left eggs for the kids to "hunt," the loudness began!
It was so fun to watch the girls this year...Madison especially. She was much more into it than last year. Plus, the weather was wonderful, so the Easter bunny left the eggs outside! Macy found just a couple (notice the piggy tails...she's been letting me put them in, and keeping them in). After finding a couple, Macy enjoyed the playground and other toys in the yard. Madison was amazed to open the egg and find candy! She started showing everyone! Of course, we've had to hear her ask for candy non-stop since. What a great day!
