Happy Birthday, Madison!

I can't believe my baby turned 3 today! Time goes by so fast! We had such a wonderful weekend starting Friday with Bumpa and Nana coming. It was so nice to have an extra set of hands to help with preparations and getting the basement ready, and to play with the girls (we even had a date night to a movie Sat. evening).
The party was so much fun. I made Madison's princess cake and was very impressed with myself (along with everybody else)! We also made tiaras for all the girls, and they got cinderella slippers with some little goodies in them for their favor bags. The best was seeing Madison's face when she saw her cake and knowing that she thought it was the best cake ever! The basement worked well having everything set up down there, with the nice big play room attached. You can see a little of it in the pictures, and on the video. Thanks to everyone who came! She had a blast! You can tell how tired she was in the one picture.

Happy Valentine's Day!

We had a wonderful Valentine's Day together as a family. We started with pictures in Madison, lunch at Red Lobster, and some play time at Cousin Sabrina's house. After shopping on the way home, we had a nice dinner at home, and put the girls to bed. They had cute matching Valentine shirts that said,"You make my heart flutter." After we put their pajamas on, they crawled into bed together...how cute are they? Of course, it didn't last long because we couldn't leave them like that! Today my friend Joy sent Madison's birthday gift home with me. It was a cinderella dress-up outfit! Madison absolutely loved it, and wanted to wear it right away. Macy liked the crown, and she held the purse for a long time, walking around with it. So cute! Madison's party is next Sunday, so check out the blog next week for some princess party pics!

Basement

We are only a week or so away from our basement being finished. It is very exciting! Here is a picture of Madison helping Daddy paint...she also came with me to help buy the paint! What a great helper!

Baby Maya!

My good friend Keely had a little baby girl on Feb. 3. Her name is Maya Kathleen, and she is the cutest! We took the girls over to see her for the first time last Monday night. Before I even brought Macy inside, Keely already Maya in Madison's arm's. And, as you can tell by her face, she was already in love with her! Every morning since then, she asked me if Baby Maya is awake yet. Macy didn't like it when I held Maya, but she seemed alright when Daddy held her for most of the night. I told Jesse all he has to do is be the breastfeeder when our baby comes, and we should be fine! Here's a little video of Macy with Maya.

Princess Dress-up and Play Ground

Our computer has been acting up, so I'm behind on my entries! Sorry! I loved this picture of the girls dressing up. Macy has been into dress up, too, and carries things around like a purse, while talking on a cell phone! Madison even makes "princess dresses" out of kitchen towels!

While visiting my parents place a couple of weeks ago, we went to an indoor play area. The girls loved it! What a great way to spend a winter Sat. morning. I wish they had one by us!
