Rides at Cheese Days

These were the rides that the girls went on. We also watched some of the big parade. The girls did really well for being gone all day long. We were exhausted when we got home!

Cheese Days in Monroe

On Sunday, we went to Cheese Days in Monroe. Jesse's Dad met us there for a little while. Madison was so excited to see him! He got a nice big squeeze when he first arrived. She also enjoyed the candy and soda he was giving her...we kept saying that he'll have to chase her all around! Jesse's cousin, Jodi and James, and their boy Drew also met up with us. We got to see his Aunt Leona, and Uncle Dave, too. Dave bought a big ice cream treat for Drew, and Drew was sharing with the girls. We had to get rid of it before it was all done, because it got so messy. Macy even tried it! Jesse also got Madison her first corn dog...could it be any bigger!?!? Mommy and Daddy helped her with that one. We also went on some rides, so I'll post some of those pictures next. Maddie loved the horses and the car ride, but I think she liked riding in the helicopter with Daddy the most!

Outside Fun!

We have been enjoying the beautiful weather. We try to stay outside for as long as we can. Both of the girls love to be outdoors. On Saturday, we were playing sidewalk chalk. Macy would take off with chalk in her hand, and it looked so cute. Madison was also helping me water the plants. I think she is the only reason why they have lasted! As you can see from the last picture, Macy is never too far away from her big sis! Enjoy the weather!

Tickle Monster!

Macy is so ticklish! Here Daddy, the tickle monster, is coming to get her.

Peek a boo!

Macy's favorite game is Peek-a-boo. If you ask where something is, even if it is unrelated to her, she'll cover her eyes!

If anyone is interested in seeing the cake video, my cousin has it posted on her blog...http://www.ethanfryer.blogspot.com

Bumpa!

Saturday night, Jesse and I had a date night in Milwaukee. We stayed at Hotel Metro (Christmas gift last year from my parents...babysitting included), went for a nice dinner at Carnivore, had a drink at the Safehouse and watched the Last Comic Standing on tour. It was the top 5 contestants from last season. They were very funny and we had such a great time! Mom was out of town with some of her friends, so Bumpa had the girls to himself. They all had so much fun, and when we came back to get them, Macy was saying Bumpa really clearly (I'm sure they were practicing ALL night and day)! Here is a video of her saying Bumpa. Madison was saying it in the background, so I had to try and keep her quiet. Have a great week!

Lots of Frosting!

What a great day with our family! Macy and Ethan did such a nice job at their party, and it was so fun celebrating together. It was also my Aunt's birthday that day, and my Grandmother's birthday the next day, so we were celebrating many birthdays! The kids had fun opening gifts (like Jesse said, I was very excited about playing with half of the toys myself). Macy seemed more interested in Ethan's gifts. It's great because Madison has been enjoying the new toys, too! We have to keep reminding her that they are Macy's and that Macy is being a good sharer. The cake was hilarious. Sabrina ordered a big one for them to "fight" over - they didn't make little individual cakes. Let's just say I'm happy that I took her pretty dress off! She had frosting everywhere! I ended up giving her a bath right in the kitchen sink of the party room (the water didn't get really warm, so she wasn't too happy). Madison tried sneaking a finger in the cake, and Macy touched her head (hence the big glob of frosting on Maddie's forehead). Besides getting home late on Sunday, we had such a great time. This week has flown by, and we're actually back in Milw. this weekend. My dad is watching the girls for us...have fun Bumpa!

One Year Old!!!!!

We love these pictures of Macy from her "Birthday Eve." She has been so much fun, and her

smile can light up a room!
