White Potato Lake

For the third year in a row, we went to Pound, WI, with my parents to my Aunt Karen and Uncle Dennis' lake house. It is north of Green Bay, south of Crivitz. The girls did pretty well, despite some attitude from Macy (and it was only to my Aunt...she really loves you, Karen)! The girls especially enjoyed the boat rides, and getting to drive the boat. It was very nice weather...a little cooler on the boat which is why we were cozy, but warm enough that the girls played in water both days! We brought the elmo sprinkler up and they loved that. The next day, we went to the other side of the lake and swam by a friend's house. They have grandchildren, so they already had the slide in the water. They were both little ice cubes when they came out, but didn't want to stop! They loved it! Thanks for another great year and Mem. Day weekend, Karen and Dennis!

Pretend beach

Robin had a week theme of beach, and they ended the week with a "pretend beach." Needless to say, Madison asks for her swimsuit every morning and Macy will start to undress herself if she sees her swimsuit on the ground! I'm very excited that the weather is getting warmer so we can take the fun in our suits outside! One of the days was warm enough that when we came home, Robin was outside with the girls in the little pool. I just bought a new one from Kohl's, so I'm sure that will be coming out of it's box very soon!

Sunday morning

Last Sunday morning when we were around town, we took this great picture of the girls. They were snuggling on the couch together, each with a book (pinkilicious and purplicious). They are starting to play really nice together...sometimes!

Bath time

Bath time has been so much fun lately because the girls love it so much! They have been lying on their bellies together, and also on their backs. What little fishes!!! We're hoping to get Macy into swim lessons as well, starting in June.

Definitely our daughter

Culver's had a fundraiser today for the Red Cross, so we treated ourselves to ice cream. Madison also had her last swimming lessons and had a great "report card," so we had another reason to celebrate. Macy really enjoyed the ice cream...almost too much! Both girls are like Mommy and Daddy because we all like ice cream, but we couldn't get over Macy's big bites!!!!!!

Ride

After the long ride home from Brillion, the girls were ready to play outside. Our neighbor, Tim, came to mow our lawn since Jesse can't for awhile (bless his heart), and brought the kids down in the attachment thing. After they all played at our house for awhile, Tim gave them a ride back to their house, and they got to jump on the new trampoline for awhile. The kids had a great time, and got nice and tired out for bed! What great neighbors we have!

Mother's Day

On Mother's Day, I took the girls to Brillion and surprised my Grandma Deffke. We met my parents there, and all went out for a nice brunch. It was a lot of driving for not much time, but it was so nice to spend the day with my Mom and Grandma (and Dad and Grandpa). The girls did great all day long. They slept the entire ride back. I of course didn't get any great shots of both of them together, but they looked so cute in their new dresses, I had to share the pics! I hope all the mothers out there had a great day!

Clifford

Clifford came to our library last Sat. I forgot to put the memory card back in the camera, so we didn't get pictures at the library (they didn't go too close anyways). They made these cute clifford hats, though, and wanted to show Daddy who was resting in bed from surgery. I think it brightened Daddy's day!

Mommy in CA!

This past weekend, I went to Baby Michael's baptism in Orange, CA. Megan and Cash asked me to be his godmother, and I gladly accepted. I had a very quick visit, but enjoyed every minute of it. Megan, Michael, and I had some quality bonding time, so just that was worth the trip! He is such a good boy! The only time he would fuss is feeding time, and didn't much like his diaper changed like all babies. He was such a sweetheart, and I enjoyed just holding him and looking at him. The baptism went very well on Sat., and on Sun., we went for a very nice brunch (great view)! I was so happy to be able to meet Michael, and to be a part of his very special day! I also asked Megan to be the godmother to our new baby, so we were excited about that, too!
