Mud pie and WALKING

We were outside for quite awhile the other night. I ran inside for a minute to get something and came out to find Max playing in my empty flower pot. I finally got to see where the term "mud pie" came from...needless to say it became a bath night!!!! Also, Max has been walking around furniture and taking 1-3 steps for a long time. Within the last week, he started taking steps in between furniture, and getting more brave. I took this video of him walking on Monday night. Although he prefers to crawl since he gets

Pet love and homecoming

Madison was snuggling with Eppy the other day and wanted me to take their picture. I couldn't resist taking another one and was able to get all 3 pets in the picture at once (Fluffy taking a nap on Madison's Princess backpack - at least it is vinyl so the hair doesn't stick). Also, Jesse took the kids to see the infamous Webb Ave. during Homecoming. The local stores actually sell out of TP this week, as you can imagine seeing this road. I think they try to TP every high school student, did we do that much when we were in HS?

Fun with dress-up, food, and a box

We had a fun day today. While Mommy was getting some things done around the house, the kids were playing very good on their own. When I went to check on Madison and Macy they were playing dress-up. Check out Madison's outfit! Wow! She could be a fashion designer and people would pay millions for that look (yes, that is a belt on top of her underwear)! While Macy was napping, Max and Madison had fun in a diaper box...they even busted one of the sides as you can tell by Madison's look! Max then enjoyed his food by wearing most of it and was having a blast. It's the little things...

Sacred Heart Fall Festival

While Daddy was enjoying the Brewer/Cub game, we enjoyed the SH Fall Festival! We had a Megan along to help us out, and the Olson Family met up with us there. The girls brought their purses and their Strawberry Shortcake wallets which I had filled with some ones, so they got to buy their own tickets (thank goodness there wasn't a long line...it took them awhile)! All the kids enjoyed getting their faces painted, petting the animals (a goat even tried eating Alayna's pigtail), gator rides, and lots of fun games. It turned out to be such a beautiful day!

More party pics

I love these pics with Great-Grandma and Grandpa Deffke. Also, Max loved the musical card Macy got from Nana and Bumpa. He danced along with it for quite a while!

Jasmine party

Macy (long awaited) 3 year old Jasmine birthday party was today! We had virtual carpet rides, a picture by Aladdin and Jasmine's castle, Jasmine coloring books, and making of candy necklaces. The kids had a wonderful time, as did the adults visiting. We were also able to celebrate Great-Grandma Deffke's 87th birthday (Weds.), which was a joy...Madison asked her if she was turning one...I couldn't fit 87 candles on! Thanks for helping us celebrate!

First Day of School

Last Weds. Madison had her open house at preschool. She has the same teachers, Terri and Susan, and is very excited to start...just look at that smile!
