One last Halloween pose

We enjoyed a quiet weekend at home...towers built, family yahtzee game, family play time outdoors, family walk, and lots of cooking! Because they always had to have layers of clothes on with their costumes, we braved the outdoors one last time. Presenting, Halloween 2012, Toy/Monte Story!!!!!!

Trick-or-Treating

We had a great time trick-or-treating with friends on Wednesday! Matthew enjoyed a twizzler as he sat comfy and cozy in the stroller, while the other kids had a blast running up and down the neighborhood. We ended at our friends' house, where we were treated to chili and "mummy dogs". Matthew enjoyed feeding himself his yogurt...we should probably practice that a bit more!

Pumpkin carving and school events

We enjoyed pumpkin carving last Saturday! There was only one pumpkin that we couldn't get through, and we did some fun pictures. Max had a costume Halloween party at school, and the girls had a "Fall Festival" parade at school in which each class made a mask or hat. Madison's class were spiders and Macy's class were bats (please see the demonstration below)!

Viking Halloween Party

Viking Village always has a wonderful family fun Halloween party. This year they had cookie decorating for the kids (I cannot imagine how much frosting/toppings was used that day), hot dogs, many other samples around the store, pears on a string, coloring contest and pictures outside this year. We also got our pumpkins last Saturday while in costumes...I also just noticed that the $2 pumpkins have a limit of 3...OOPS! Anyways, it was a fun time had by all!
