Happy Wisconsin Day!

We celebrated Wisconsin Day at school today!  We just had to take a picture in our badger gear!!!

Brewer's Game

Thanks to Nana's work, we were able to take the whole family to a Brewer game!  We enjoyed some tailgating fun before the game, and the kids really enjoyed the game (I think they liked the family section with Bumpa the best, though).  Matthew fell asleep in the third inning, and then woke back up and was in a great mood the rest of the game!  We left a little early and the ride home was quite long, but we had a great time!!

Brothers

The boys get along so well, and I think this can only improve since they are home together without the girls during the school day!  Macy was proudly sporting her new birthday outfit from Bumpa and Nana!

Dance Class

Dance classes have begun!  We are fortunate to have the classes back-to-back on one day, but that also means we get to spend an hour and 15 minutes every Monday night at the dance studio!  I had to laugh the first night as many siblings were staying entertained on ipads!!!!

Macy is 5!

Macy had a wonderful birthday!  She got to celebrate at school with her class, and then we went out for dinner at Pizza Ranch.  We ended the evening taking Ginger for a walk, and then stopping at the neighborhood park.  She was twirling and dancing and singing like crazy!  We love you, Macy!

Our first days of school!

Madison was the only one who went to school on the "first day."  So, the 3 of us were off on our first day of school adventure together...myself as the same old school counselor, Madison as a first grader, and Jesse as a K-5 technology teacher (first time out of a Kindergarten classroom in a long time)!
On Wednesday, Max had his first day of preschool, and Macy had her first full day of Kindergarten!  Everyone was super excited!  We all had great days with lots to share, and we were all exhausted!

Last Days of Summer

We had an amazing Labor Day weekend, filled with family, friends, and fun!  After celebrating Macy's party and Tara's shower, Bumpa and Nana stayed two nights with us!  Macy got a kick out of all of her new toys, but I think one of her favorites was the pajamas that match her doll that we found for her.  She changed into pjs very early that day!  The girls were treated to Tanger mall and a movie with Nana, while I worked at Kohl's.  Madison picked out a BAB chair, which Matthew thought was a perfect size for him, while Macy picked out a BFF outfit for her build a bear.  Ginger has always been an awesome dog, but seeing her get "ridden" and bounced on by Matthew and just lay there, makes me even more thankful!  She is probably enjoying what little attention she gets lately!  The kids enjoyed some outdoor time today with the pool and slip n' slide, along with scooters, bikes and big wheels!  Sad for summer to come to an end, but also excited for a new school year!

Tara's shower

Macy was such a wonderful girl to let me also use her party as a "decoy" for a surprise party for my friend, Tara.  She just had her 4th child, and after 3 beautiful girls, now has a sweet boy!  Marcus will be very nicely dressed, and I was actually able to keep it a surprise!

Macy's Birthday party

We celebrated Macy's Birthday on Saturday with my parents and some of her friends.  Macy was thrilled to help make her cupcakes (as were her siblings), and we had such a nice time!  Jesse and Bumpa played outside for awhile with the kids, they had a nice meal together, had cake, opened up presents and played a little more!  I cannot believe we have another 5 and over in the house!  (Be sure to check out the similarity of not only myself and Macy's facial expression, but also Jesse's reflection through the tv...priceless)!

Max's preschool and Macy's Kindergarten

Macy got to go and meet her Kindergarten teacher last Friday.  She even picked out a special dress to wear and was super excited!  She cannot wait to go to school and I think she will have an awesome year!My big boy starts preschool this week!   We had his open house so he could drop off supplies and meet his teachers.  He loved having the siblings there as well!  Matthew enjoyed the playdoh table, while Max played with Madison at the bean table.  It will be a great year!

Baby Marcus and Kiaja's birthday party

Our good friends, the Olson's, had their baby #4 last week.  Baby Marcus was greeted by his 3 BIG sisters very eagerly!  They are thrilled to have a healthy baby boy!  I was his first visitor in the hospital, and our girls got to meet him at Kiaja's birthday party.  Even more than the baby, they enjoyed the Little Mermaid on tv and the crown Ariel game they all played.  A great day!
