Scooter

Here is a better video of Matthew scooting.  He has crawled very little and it is usually if he is trying to get around something.  He will stop and sit up to scoot, probably because he knows he will get there faster!  He loves to pull himself up on everything, and is getting stronger day by day.  He actually pulled himself up on me today and let go, standing on his own for just a few seconds.  It won't be long...

Summer happenings

We missed lunch bunch at the library the other day, so we had a picnic outside.  Before planting our planters (finally), a big toad leaped out from the flowers down on our blanket!  It caught us by surprise, but then it hung out long enough to let us snap some pictures.  I have a feeling we'll be seeing it again!  Matthew has really been enjoying the library, which is a good thing since we spend a lot of time there!  Between Macy and Madison in t-ball, we are at the field 3 times a week!  Here are some pictures of Macy, with Madison's to come soon.  Matthew was excited that his friend Annika was there to talk to!

Girl Power

My girls are always wondering about my curly hair, and why theirs is not!  I finally tried braiding their hair while wet, to give it a wavy look.  Macy didn't leave hers in long enough, but Madison's came out really cute...she loved it!  The girls also made their own "bunk beds" in the living room the other day...they must really be missing theirs!  They also played dress-up the other day, and came up with a third pretty princess...oh Max!

Butterfest Parade

Last Saturday was the Butterfest parade.  The kids enjoyed the parade...especially all of the candy!  Daddy took all kids Thursday night to the carnival while I hosted Bunco at the house.  They didn't come home until after 10:00!  He had gotten the wristbands for them all, so they had a blast!

Sauk County Dairy Breakfast

We decided to try our first Sauk County Dairy Breakfast this year!  We headed to catch the bus, and were shocked when it pulled up and we were behind a line of over 100 people to eat!  While Jesse waited with Matthew (he had a nice snooze), I took the kids around.  They saw cows, tractors, a petting zoo, wagon ride, and lots of other fun things.  Unfortunately, the line was still too long for us to actually eat the yummy breakfast because of a birthday party we had to get back for.  We will definitely try again another year!

Mara and museum

The first weekend of June was quite busy!  Daddy was home with the kids on Saturday as I spent my first night away from Matthew!  My cousin Mara is getting married in August, and we had her shower/bacheloerette party.  I had a great time, and luckily the kids did awesome for Dad (he even got to have some fun)!  When I got home, I took the girls to the log pioneer museum in town (we had never been), and then off to a graduation party!

School Days!

The last days of school were fun ones.  Macy is done with Pre-School and getting ready to start Kindergarten in the fall.  She will miss Terri and Susan, but they will still have us as Max starts with them in the fall!  Westside had a carnival day, and Madison and I got to race in the obstacle course...lots of fun!

Fun

We have had lots of fun lately!  Matthew is really enjoying to play with Max and his sisters.  Almost every morning, he gives Max a big hug!  We also went on our first family bike ride!  Mommy gets Madison on the tag-a-long bike, and poor Daddy gets Macy and Matthew in the bike trailer, and Max in the extra seat!  What a workout!
