Rose Bowl Day

We had a fun time at a friends' house cheering on the Badgers. Although they lost the game, we enjoyed the company and I even put a ponytail in Matthew's hair!

Christmas Day

We had a lovely time at Grandpa and Grandma Phillips' house. The kids enjoyed playing with all the cousins and tall Uncle Dave! We were able to stay overnight at Aunt Judy's place and celebrate with Grandma Monte and Grandpa Monte, too!

Christmas morning

Santa stopped at our house and was very good to our kids! The girls got their first American Girl Dolls, everyone got scooters, Madison got a pogostick, and the boys got a big pirate ship and Jake and the Neverland Pirates!

Christmas Eve

Our evening started with a fun get-together with our friends' the Olson's and the Miller's. We remembered to put out the reindeer feed on the lawn when we got home so that Santa would see the reflection and know to stop at our house. The kids waved and said good-bye to our elf, Mojo, and we let the teddy bear read us "Twas the Night Before Christmas" before going to bed. The most perfect night!

School Family Christmas

We had a wonderful time at Uncle John and Aunt Heidi's house for Christmas this year. The highlight for the kids was loading all of our stuff in the elevator to take to the basement level!

Two Snow Days

We got 14+ inches of snow, and thus had two extra days off for winter break! I persuaded Jesse to open family gifts early so we could enjoy them before all of our holiday travel. The kids' favorite gift from us were their personalized towels! We had a fun wrapping paper shower! The girls had their Christmas dance party that Friday night, and did a great job, especially not having dance that Monday!

Santa and other Christmas fun

We had lots of fun! Cookie decorating at the Hynek's for the La Valle Christmas party, a visit with Santa at Tanger, and Macy in the Charlie Brown play at school!

"Living Windows"

Downtown Reedsburg had their Annual "Living Windows" night, where some of the stores have live displays. It was definitely fun to walk around and see everything, including singing with some carolers , santa, and even sang their own songs together at the very end.

Max's program

Max had his pre-school program, and was soooooo excited! He said, "Hi Mom, Hi Dad!" the whole way down the aisle! He did a great job, and even bowed after each song.

First Snow Fall

The kids enjoyed playing in the snow and they loved hanging up the ornaments on the tree.

Christmas Tree and Grandpa

Matthew and I visited Great Granpda in the hospital. Matthew enjoyed getting into things around the room, and giving Grandpa high-fives! We also got our tree the first weekend after Thanksgiving and the kids loved every minute of it!
