Our Third Child...

No, we're not pregnant again, but catchy line, huh?! Madison insisted on taking her life-size doll for a walk the other day. So now we know what it will look like with 3 kids, if we choose to have more :) The other picture was from my friend CaSondra's wedding at the Orphem theatre downtown Madison. It was so beautiful, and they looked so happy. I was excited to have a nice picture of Jesse and I, too! We enjoyed our couple of hours away (thanks again Auntie Ellen and Uncle Randy for watching them). Our fun weekend turned into a long couple of days when Madison woke up that night sick. She had both issues until 2 p.m., and then stopped throwing up. We took her into the doctor today, because she wasn't eating anything, but they said it was probably just a virus. Poor thing!

Do you remember?

Here comes the "Destroyer!" If you remember, Maddie loved to go through the cupboards (I included an old picture), especially the one with the tupperware, and throw them all over the floor. Well, here is Macy realizing she can open the cupboards! I guess we're fortunate...Maddie had been going through the cupboards months before Macy! I just love this other picture, she just looks active, doesn't she?!?!?!?! Macy is back to only taking a couple of steps here and there, and loves to walk on her knees. We'll see what happens!

Megan's 30th and our Anniversary

On Saturday night, Megan's husband Cash held a dinner party at Coquette Cafe in the Third Ward. We had such a nice dinner, with good conversation and fun! We ventured to a champagne bar where Susan met up with us later on. Kirk and Katie watched the girls for us. On Sunday (our 6th anniversary), we had a joint birthday gathering with family and friends. It was wonderful to celebrate such a big occasion with Megan. She is also flying back in August for my birthday. I love you girl!

More swimming!

We had a wonderful weekend in Milwaukee! Madison used swimming wings and a noodle (instead of her vest) for the first time. She did a nice job! We didn't let her hang out in the deep end like she usually does, but she was swimming all over! Macy liked to splash a lot. I think they are both ready for their August swim lessons!

She's Walking!!!!

We have seen Macy take a couple of steps here and there. Last Thursday, she took three steps to Jesse (of course I was at bunko)! Today, she was taking one here and there, and we counted eight steps in a row from me to Jesse! I got a picture of her ready to go (one picture shows her top two teeth)! Watch out!

First Camping Trip

We finally had a weekend off and Jesse had the bug to go camping. So, we tried out Devil's Lake, knowing that if it got bad, we would only be 20 minutes from home. We had so much fun! The pack n' play outside was a lifesaver while setting everything up. When Madison saw Macy in there, she wanted to go for a little, too! I also have a picture of Jesse and Madison gathering sticks for the fire. Our neighbors came out for most of the day on Saturday, and the kids played so hard! The girls did good in the tent...2 adults, one toddler, one baby in a pack n' play and an eighty pound lab all in one tent (the picture shows how much fun they had crawling around the tent in their jammers)! The sleep was not long enough, which is why everyone is taking a nap right now as I'm writing this! Hope everyone is enjoying their summer!

Brewer Game

We had a VERY busy Monday! Jesse went golfing at University Ridge, while I took the girls shopping in Madison. We went over to Mrs. Farmer's house, and played with Molly and Evie, and Julie (Jenny Larson's sister) and her 4 kids. Mrs. Larson was there, along with a nephew and his two boys. We had a blast! When Jesse was done golfing, we picked him up and headed to Milwaukee for the Brewer game. We picked up my Mom and went to tailgate with a bus from Reedsburg (Maddie got to "test drive"). My dad met us there, and we ventured in. Let's just say it'll probably be awhile before we go back with the girls! Thank goodness for my Mom and Dad taking turns with us, or I don't know if we would have made it to game time! We ended up leaving in the 5th, which turned out fine because we missed the down pour. At least we got some good pics for their first game together and Madison got to wear her "lil brewer" shirt that I made for her!

Cousin Mara

My cousin Mara and her boyfriend Travis, stayed with us last weekend. They hung out in the Dells most of the time, but played with the girls in the morning when they got up. Madison loved having them here and Travis was so sweet with them, too! Come and visit us again, soon! Cute couple, huh?!

Friends

We had another great day! Chad, Sabrina, and Ethan came to visit. We ate lots of yummy food and had fun hanging out. A little later on, Joe, Brianna, and Kerry came over. Brianna and Madison had so much fun playing together. Brianna loved Madison's big girl bed...she gets one on July 14th! They were reading and talking on her bed, and then reading together on the chair. They hugged each other so hard good-bye, that they fell over!!!! It was so cute.

Big Girl Potty!!!!!!

Madison has gone a couple of days with no accidents! So, we thought it was time that she picked out some of her own big girl underwear!! She picked Dora, and Mommy and Daddy picked another pretty 10 pack so we're now fully stocked for our big girl. She even makes "nuggets"!

Happy 4th of July!

We hope that everyone had a fun and safe 4th. We spent most of the evening at our friend's house. Their backyard is heaven for little kids! Lots of fun things to do, including a blow-up bouncing thing (I forgot what it is called). Madison even stayed awake to

watch her first fireworks! She fell asleep on the five minute ride home.

Enjoying the outdoors

Jesse finished staining the deck, so we finally got to bring the deck furniture out. Daddy and Madison enjoyed some reading time outside. We were all set for a walk, when it starting to rain. Madison was all set with her raincoat and umbrella! It started to come down really hard, so unfortunately, we had to go inside.
