Weekend in IL

We had an amazing time in IL with Jesse's family.  We had a nice lunch with Grandpa and Grandma Phillip's when we first got into town.  We then headed to Aunt Judy's house on the river.  The boy's liked hanging out in Grandpa Monte's "man cave" and the girls couldn't get enough of swimming in the river (more like floating, as they would float so far, get out, and do it all over again)!  On Saturday, Uncle Tom was in a tractor ride that ended at their house, so we got to see lots of tractors, and even eat a doughnut!  On the way back to the river, we stopped at Famous Fossils winery, and let the kids color at a table overlooking the vineyards, as Jesse and I sampled wine :)  That evening, after more swimming for the girls and Grandpa taking Max in (he loved it), Grandpa made a special smores treat for us all.  We enjoyed a pontoon ride Saturday night, and again on Sunday morning before we headed back (with a pit stop in Monroe to have lunch with Kerry and his family).  What a great time!
