I feel very fortunate to have stayed home for 14 weeks with Matthew! What a little sweetheart! He is getting more smiley every day! He happened to roll over yesterday afternoon when we were done with school! He had been close for awhile, and he waited until I was home from work :) Matthew enjoys watching his brother and sisters, and they all love being around him!

Matthew's First Brewer Game

The last week of Sept., Matthew and I went to a Brewer game with our friends, Pete and Lori, and as an added bonus, BUMPA! We enjoyed the Brewer win and watching Prince hit 3 homeruns, but Matthew didn't enjoy the loud crowd. He would cry every time the crowd went wild...poor guy! Sorry about the pics, I don't know why they wouldn't rotate!

Mirror Lake

I was lucky enough to chaperone Madison's fieldtrip to Mirror Lake today. It was so much fun! We started with a canoe ride on Mirror Lake and enjoyed the sights and sounds of the lake! I only got hit with an ore a few times :) This canoe is big enough for the whole class, and is infamous around Reedsburg. We then took about an hour long hike and looked for things on our scavenger hunt list. After lunch, we had a little bit of time to try out the playground and play some games. A very great time, and I was so happy to be able to go!
Dance class and fun

The girls had their second night of dance, and love it! They look so cute and happy in their "new" leotards! Before dance, Macy was playing with Matthew. She was showing him her princess shirt, and he was smiling and cooing for quite awhile! The kids are all still enjoying their little baby...we"ll see if it lasts when he is big enough to take their toys!

Cinderella
On Monday, Madison auditioned for "Cinderella" put on by the Missoula Children's Theatre and got a part as a pumpkin! In 5 days they put together a one hour play and show two performances on Saturday. Madison had so much fun and was exhausted by the second show! Macy sat like such a big girl and watched...I'm sure she will be up there some day too!

Baptism

Last weekend, Bumpa and Nana came to town with Lauren and Katelyn. We had so much fun! Our kids just love being around their cousins, and all get along really well. Saturday was filled with soccer, Home Depot workshop, dinner, ice cream, and mini-golfing in the Dells. Sunday was Matthew's Baptism and what a wonderful day it was! We always enjoy being surrounding by family, and this was super special with Matthew finally meeting his Great-Grandpa and Grandma Deffke! We look forward to seeing everyone again hopefully soon!
Soccer and goofing around!
With the start of school, we have slowed down a bit. Madison is loving Kindergarten, and Macy is really enjoying preschool. Madison has started soccer, and is having fun learning the basics. I have been enjoying my maternity leave, hanging out with the kiddos and friends. We found the girls upstairs in their "cocoons" and Daddy and Max enjoy making silly faces :)
