Tommy Bartlett Exploratory

We started our weekend Friday night at Tommy Bartlett Exploratory. The kids really enjoyed it, and we loved the $3 day for us locals! We spent almost 2 hours trying out everything, and similar to Chuck E. Cheese, I think us parents had even MORE fun than the kids! Daddy even tried the bicyle on a tight rope! Madison lasted longer than I did on the "Electric Shock Machine." Max enjoyed tagging along after us and found a couple of things that he could participate in. The rest of the weekend consisted of doing things around the house, and graduation parties. We made 3 parties out of our 5 invites...can't be everywhere! The kids really liked playing in the outdoor sprinklers and pools, especially at some of the parties! I'm hoping for a good night sleep for all!

The ABC's by Max

Max is a touch behind where the girls were as far as talking goes. He really tries hard and is so close, especially now that you can pretty much understand what he is trying to say, even if it doesn't sound like the actual words. Here is Max in his debut of singing the alphabet! Enjoy!

The New Zoo in Green Bay

On our way home Sunday, we stopped at the New Zoo in Green Bay. We fed some goats (notice the bridge above Max is for the goats), pet some llamas, and even touched a snake! The kids got to feed the giraffes...the long purple tongue was really cool! We ended with a train ride and going to the "pirate ship" park before we left. Max was really into, and was such a big boy walking most of the time we were there. It was the perfect end to a great weekend!

The oth picture are the kids trying out their new hopscotch water sprinkler toy from Bumpa and Nana for Easter! They loved it! Max was so excited, he started up without putting on his suit!!!!

White Potato Lake, Pound, WI

We have come to White Potato Lake for Mem. weekend for at least the last 4 years. It has been a great tradition, and Karen and Dennis always treat our family so wonderful. The kids take so much pride in "driving" the boat, and the girls love to go to the other side of the lake to swim...even this year with the water being a little cooler. Mommy and Daddy enjoy playing cards and Mexican train in the evenings, and there is a lot of yummy food to be had! The girls even made friends with the neighbor kids! The time always goes too fast, and we're hoping that the tradition will continue!

Bay Beach

We stopped at Bay Beach in Green Bay on our way to my Aunt Karen and Uncle Dennis' lake house this past weekend. We met up with Bumpa and Nana there, and all had a great time on the rides. While Bumpa and Nana had the girls on the ferris wheel, Max was able to enjoy the boat and the car ride all by himself! He really enjoyed being a "big boy!" His favorite was the choo-choo ride and I enjoyed the helicopter ride with Max (although I wasn't sure if I would stay in or not)! What a great start to the Memorial Day weekend!!

Madison's last day of preschool

Last Friday was Madison's last day of preschool :( She really enjoyed the last two years at Sacred Heart and we all loved Miss Terri and Miss Susan! They will be greatly missed by Madison, but Mommy and Daddy will still be able to see them next year while dropping off Macy!!!!!

Great-Grandparents Rock!

Saturday was a wonderful celebration day for our extended family! We had a birthday party for Great-Grandpa School, baby shower for Brian and Colleen's new baby coming very soon, an engagement and college graduation for Mara and finace Travis, and Great-Grandma and Grandpa's 69th wedding anniversary! Max enjoyed cake with Bumpa and an ice cream cone later at Deffke's. I think all the kids had a sugar overload! Madison enjoyed reading to Ethan, and he sat so nicely listening! What a great day!
