Mt. Olmypus

We had some free passes that expired Friday to Mt. Olympus, so we braved the crowd, and the heat, and stopped by for a few hours. The kids had a blast, and Matthew was picture perfect! We even made it home for lunch and gymnastics! What a great day!

Summer Activities

Even with the birth of their brother, the girls have been able to enjoy their summer activities. Jesse and I are so very thankful to have this time with our kiddos! Macy already is finished with Tot Lot, where she had a great time with Alayna, and met some new friends. Madison has finished Level 1 swimming lessons at the outdoor pool, and still has 3 more days left of her basketball camp. Both girls started gymnastics last week, and will continue it for 3 days/3 more weeks. Next week I'll be taking Max to a Tot gymnastics class...I'm sure he will LOVE IT!

Tub/Tummy time

Matthew enjoyed his first tub bath, and always has fun on tummt time when his sisters and brother join him!

Some first week photos

Matthew was happy to meet Robin, our very special sitter who he will love just as much as the other kids do! We received lots of visitors and enjoyed the company. All the kids love holding him and tickling his toes. Matthew also had his first photo op with his new friend Annika, born just 2 weeks before him! The picture with his first build-a-bear is an official one week pic, and I will try to remember to take a monthly picture of him with it, to show his growth!

First Road Trip

We got home from the hospital on Friday, and on Saturday took off for our first road trip. We first stopped in Orangeville, IL, and had lunch with Great-Grandma Monte, Grandpa Monte, and Aunt Judy. From there, we went to Uncle Tyler's Graduation party, where Matthew enjoyed meeting Grandma Simonson, and Great-Grandpa and Grandma Phillips. All the kids did wonderful, and Matthew just snoozed the entire day! It did make for a rough evening, but it was sooo worth it!

Coming home pics

Here is a sweet picture of Nana with all of the kids. We had to laugh when we were leaving with Matthew because I only brought along 0-3 month clothes and his outfit was sooooo big on him! He seemed to like his car seat after we got driving (of course, it is only a 2 minute drive)! The novelty of baby Matthew has not worn off yet!

More family fun

Even after the birth of our fourth child, the Monte crew continues their fun and busy life! This past week, Macy finished Tot lot (there she is with her friend Alayna, and their shirts), Madison continued basketball camp and is starting to really enjoy it, and we have spent some fun time with our family friends. Sunday night we went to the Olson's for a bbq, and the kids enjoyed some pool time, and later on, performed in a "marching band" around their backyard. Super cute! Max has been LOVING up the Dora twin brother/sister dolls! He likes to sleep with the blue one sometimes, and enjoys giving them "rides." How sweet!
